Earth Worms
Students learned a lot about worms this year. First off, Earth worms have five hearts and they don't have any eyes to see what's around them. They use their sense of touch
since they can't use their vision.
Earth worms feed the world by "decompacting" soil and feeding the soil with nutrients. Also, they're like magicians because they decompose dead animals and converts it into nutrients for the soil .
Owl Pellets
Did you know owls spit out pellets from their mouths?
A pellet is a oval shape object that has bones of small animals.
There are many ,small animals that an owl eat.
For example, owls can eat: rodents, shrews, moles, and birds.
In a pellet you can find bones such as, ribs, jaws, pelvis, scapula, humerus, and the vertebrae.
In 12 hours, an owl forms one pellet each day.
